By visiting shermaninsulation.com, contacting Sherman Insulation, or engaging our services in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use our website or engage with our business.
Sherman Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in Sherman, TX and surrounding communities. Services include but are not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, insulation removal, and related work.
All services are performed by or under the supervision of licensed and insured contractors. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion and to subcontract portions of work to qualified and licensed tradespeople where appropriate.
All estimates provided by Sherman Insulation are based on conditions observed at the time of the on-site assessment. A written estimate is required before any paid work begins. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted.
The estimate reflects the scope of work as described. If conditions discovered during the project differ materially from what was observed at the estimate visit - for example, additional damage, inaccessible spaces, or hazardous materials not previously visible - we will notify you before proceeding with any additional work and provide a revised cost for your approval.
Prices quoted are for the scope of work described in the written estimate. Additional work outside that scope will be priced separately and requires your written or verbal authorization before it is performed.
We make every effort to arrive at your property on the scheduled date and time. Occasionally, weather, prior job delays, or other circumstances outside our control may require us to reschedule. We will notify you as soon as possible if that happens.
If you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled job, we ask for at least 24 hours notice when possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice after materials have been ordered or equipment has been dispatched may result in a cancellation fee to cover those costs.
We reserve the right to reschedule or suspend work due to unsafe working conditions, including extreme weather, structural concerns, or hazardous materials discovered on-site.
Payment terms will be specified in your written estimate or service agreement. For most residential projects, payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger commercial projects, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee. Sherman Insulation reserves the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances, including reasonable attorney fees and court costs where permitted by law.
In the event of a billing dispute, please contact us in writing at estimates@shermaninsulation.com within 15 days of receiving your invoice. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue promptly.
You agree to provide Sherman Insulation with reasonable access to the areas of your property where work is to be performed. You are responsible for clearing those areas of personal property, furniture, and other items prior to the scheduled work date unless we have specifically agreed otherwise.
You represent that you have the legal authority to authorize work on the property where services will be performed - either as the property owner or as an authorized representative of the owner. If permits are required for the work, you agree to cooperate with our efforts to obtain them.
Sherman Insulation warrants that all work will be performed in a workmanlike manner consistent with applicable industry standards. Any specific warranty terms will be provided in your written estimate or service agreement.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by events outside our control, including flood, fire, storm, structural failure, moisture intrusion from sources unrelated to our work, unauthorized modification of our work by you or a third party, or failure to maintain the completed work in accordance with our recommendations.
Except as expressly provided in a written warranty, all services are provided "as is" and without any implied warranties, including implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law,Sherman Insulation's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services will not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
In no event will Sherman Insulation be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages - including lost profits or loss of use - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies to claims based on contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory.
If a dispute arises between you and Sherman Insulation, we encourage you to contact us first at estimates@shermaninsulation.com so that we can attempt to resolve the issue informally. We will make a good-faith effort to address your concern within 10 business days of receiving your written notice.
If informal resolution is not possible, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Any legal action not resolved through mediation will be brought in the appropriate courts of Grayson County, Texas.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Grayson County, Texas.
